PartnersArkansas Valley Regional Medical Center Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center provides inpatient acute care through a 90-bed facility in La Junta, Colorado. AVRMC also operates a 115-bed nursing home on its campus. Southeast Mental Health Services has a full-time mental health clinician stationed at AVRMC for the purpose of integrating physical and behavioral health care services in the acute setting.
Civilians for Veterans Funds The Civilians for Veterans Fund is a unique collaborative effort between Colorado’s community mental health centers, private donors, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because of this collaboration, veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and their families are receiving free, confidential mental health treatment in three rural areas of Colorado, including the southeast region.

CHP is a subsidiary of ValueOptions®, the nation’s largest independent behavioral health and wellness company.
The Colorado Trust The Colorado Trust is a grantmaking foundation dedicated to achieving access to health for all Coloradans. When the nonprofit PSL Health Care Corporation was sold to a for-profit organization in 1985, the proceeds of the sale were used to create a foundation dedicated exclusively to the health of the people of Colorado. Since that time, The Colorado Trust has worked closely with nonprofit organizations in every county across the state to improve health and well-being. Southeast Mental Health Services worked with the Trust on the “Preventing Suicide in Colorado” initiative, as well as the “Advancing Colorado’s Mental Health” initiative.
High Plains Community Health Center High Plains Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing outpatient health care services to patients in Prowers, Baca, Bent and Kiowa Counties. Southeast Mental Health Services has a full-time mental health clinician stationed at High Plains Community Health Center’s main medical facility in Lamar for the purpose of integrating physical and behavioral health.
Mental Health Association of Colorado Mental Health America of Colorado is a statewide advocacy group that creates opportunities for all Coloradoans to achieve mental wellness. MHAC programs educate people about mental health conditions, provide outreach to people in need and advocate for improved health care in our state. They exist as a community resource for people seeking information about mental health and as a team player as we collaborate with others to improve health care in Colorado. MHAC envisions a healthy Colorado free of stigma and discrimination where every person has full access to high quality services for all mental health and substance abuse conditions.
National Mental Health Association The National Mental Health Association (NMHA) is the country's oldest and largest nonprofit organization addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illness. With more than 340 affiliates nationwide, NMHA works to improve the mental health of all Americans, especially the 54 million individuals with mental disorders, through advocacy, education, research and service.
Partnership for Progress, LLC Partnership for Progress is a comprehensive outpatient substance abuse service provider for the six counties in extreme southeast Colorado. In addition to addiction treatment, PFP provides domestic violence counseling, anger management classes, and sex offender treatment. PFP is a key partner in the 16th Judicial District Integrated Drug Treatment Court. In June 2010, PFP was awarded the Harold E. Hughes Awards of Excellence “Exceptional Rural Program” designation from the national Rural Alcohol and Drug Abuse Network, Inc. PFP has also been winner of Signal Behavioral Network’s “Process Improvement Award” for four consecutive quarters.
Prowers Medical Center Prowers Medical Center provides inpatient acute care through a 25-bed facility in Lamar, Colorado. PMC also provides outpatient medical services through its offices and Rural Health Clinics in Lamar, Holly and Las Animas.
SyCare SyCare, a partnership of mental health service providers, is at work every day in small communities throughout central, south central and southeastern Colorado. Serving more than 52,000 Medicaid clients in 19 of Colorado's most economically disadvantaged counties, SyCare provides comprehensive, community-based mental health services to clients and their families. These services are offered in a variety of modalities and settings and include ongoing efforts to coordinate care among all providers working with an individual and their families.
Tri-County Housing and Community Development Corp Tri-County Housing & Community Development Corporation serves people & communities through facilitation of quality affordable housing & community projects in Crowley, Otero & Bent counties of Colorado. Southeast Mental Health Services formed a partnership with Tri-County Housing to build a new apartment complex in La Junta for people with disabilities, including severe mental illnesses. The new complex opened in 2007 with 20 units and a community center. Mountain View provides comfortable housing and a host of other services for residents, such as crisis management and psychosocial rehabilitation.
Valley Wide Health Systems, Inc. Valley Wide Health Systems, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing outpatient health care services to patients in southern Colorado, with offices in Rocky Ford, La Junta and Las Animas. Southeast Mental Health Services is co-located to provide on-site clinical mental health services at the Rocky Ford office one day a week.
Wellness Works Wellness Works is southeast Colorado’s one-stop wellness center fostering positive daily lifestyle changes and promoting a state of health and well-being. Wellness Works provides affordable resources to the residents of southeast Colorado through its outpatient offices in Rocky Ford and Lamar. Southeast Mental Health Services and Wellness Works are related companies under the umbrella of Southeast Behavioral Health Group.

National Council for Community Behavoral Healthcare The National Council is a nonprofit trade association serving the education, advocacy and networking needs of more than 800 community providers of mental health and addiction treatment services.
National Consumer Supporter Technical Assistance Center (NCSTAC) NCSTAC was established in 1998 by a grant from the Center for Mental Health Services. NCSTAC's purpose is to strengthen those organizations supporting mental health consumers, survivors and ex-patients by providing technical assistance in the forms of research, informational materials and financial aid.
